Each time I discover a new social networking I begin to be curious about the functions and facilities that it brings to the users.

Social media networks are a major resource for both small and big businesses that are looking to promote their brands on the Internet. And figuring out the most popular social media sites for the audience you are trying to reach is extremely important.

Below is the list of social networks of which I am a part of and use most or less often.

Social network list that I use to read the others posts and also to share my own post:

  1. Blogger – To share feelings with songs and fashion, lifestyle and travels showed into a  photography and art
  2. Flickr – To share feelings with songs and fashion, lifestyle and travels showed into a  photography and art. Max free image storage: 1,000 GB.
  3. Facebook Page – To share all blog posts on there.
  4. Google Plus – To share the blog post and photography of flickr.
  5. Twitter – To share post and read others publications.
  6. Youtube – To share videos of vlogging activity about SL.
  7. Instagram – To share the blog post and photography of flickr.
  8. Twitch – Twitch does not allow Second Life to be streamed on their site.
  9. Pinterest – To share the blog post and photography of flickr.
  10. Reddit – Subscribe to the SecondLife Subreddit.
  11. Tumblr – To share the blog post and photography of flickr.
  12. Wordpress – WordPress is a free and open-source content management system based on PHP and MySQL. Features include a plugin architecture and a template system.
  13. Gravatar – Gravatar is a service for providing globally-unique avatars.
  14. Empire Avenue – Empire.Kred is an online game for building real world Influence. Players buy and sell each other, and earn currency by completing real world Social Missions.
  15. Plurk – Plurk is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send updates (otherwise known as plurks) through short messages or links, which can be up to 360 text characters in length (as of December 28, 2016, immediately prior to which the limit was 210, which was increased from the original limit of 140).
  16. Ello – Ello is a community to discover, discuss, publish, share and promote the things you are passionate about.
  17. Bloglovin – Bloglovin' is a platform that allows users to read, organize, and discover their favorite blogs on mobile and desktop. It is a design-focused platform that aggregates feeds from sources with RSS feeds, allowing users to discover and organize content.

  18. Issuu.com – Following, reading and fav favorite Second Life magazines on issuu. 
  19. Quora – Quora is a place to gain and share knowledge. It's a platform to ask questions and connect with people who contribute unique insights and quality answers. 
  20. OnLinker – OnLinker.com is a friendly social network for Second Life users. it's created for SL Fans by SL Fans.  It is like to have a Facebook only for Second Life community.
  21. WIX – Wix.com Wix gives you the ability to easily create a complete website. Max free image storage: Unlimited. Social network and own icon only in premium accounts
  22. 500px – 500px is browsed by tons of magazines editors, art curators and companies eager to find beautiful images. Max free image storage: 7 photos per week, 2,000 photos in total. Allow upload only JPG images.
  23. Imgur – You’ll find the funniest, most informative and inspiring images, memes, GIFs, and visual stories served up in an endless stream of bite-sized fun. Max free image storage: Unlimited.

Social media sites only for Second Life residents:

  1. Second Life Profile – My Second Life web-based profile. Any post directly is showed in the feed section.
  2. Second Life Community Forums – Great resource for those interested in chatting and sharing with other Second Life residents.
  3. ASNERS.com – Resident owned network for gamers.  A content sharing social network for Second Life, Sansar, IMVU, Opensim, World of Warcraft, EVE-Online, World of Tanks, STar Wars, other MMO games, XBox, etc.
  4. Onlinker – Resident owned social network (like Facebook) for Second Life residents. It is safe and friendly social network for Second Life users. Make new friends/family, find romantic connections, share your photos, create events, write blog posts, advertise and much more... all for free, and without the possibility of being banned for being 'not real'. Because at OnLinker, Second Life is our focus.
  5. Wiply – Resident owned social network.
  6. SLUniverse – Resident owned forums for Second Life residents.
  7. Snapzilla – Resident owned snapshot for Second Life residents.
  8. Koinup – Registration temporary disabled.  Photo sharing site suitable for virtual worlds.
  9. Second Life Wiki – The Knowledge Base has moved! The official Second Life Knowledge Base is on the Community site!. However is still there a simple glossary.
